Kennedy K.Davis

Kennedy Davis is a May 2024 graduate of Ball State University with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and a minor in communication studies. She is now back at Ball State University as a graduate student hoping to get a master's in Journalism: Reporting and Storytelling. She has completed internships in the summers of 2021 and 2022 at Six Flags Great America helping to gain better communication skills. Davis also worked an internship at the Ball State University Alumni Foundation writing thank you cards and making videos to Ball State Donors also helping with school events and marketing days. She was a part of the Ball State Chapter of National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ), where she served as Vice President in 2023. Davis won a Gold Louie Award in 2021 and Silver Louie Award in 2023 for NABJ from the Ball State Department of Journalism and another award for NABJ Member of the Year 2020-2021 from the Ball State Department of Telecommunications. She has also won The Multicultural Program of the year award for her sorority chapter for hosting an event. She was Excellence in Leadership Ambassador inspiring and learning about how to become a leader for her community and apart of NSLS. Davis is a part of the Delta Phi Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated and sat on the Chapter’s Council as Vice President from Fall 2022-Spring 2023 and sat as President in Fall 2023-Spring 2024. Starting in the fall 2025 and early into 2026, Davis was a Public Event Assistant for the Indianapolis Zoo. Working and leading the events of ZooBoo and Christmas at the Zoo.
